This is "My" Interview.
1. what do you do for a living?
I work for a Contract company doing Civil Earthwork Calculations. Which means I figure how much dirt is on a job and if there needs to be import or export of dirt.
2. What is you favorite Color, Band, Food , Any Pets?
Blue, Sublime, Su-shi Yes I have a Dog that is a Vizsla named Tag, he is the smartest dog I’ve ever seen or owned.
3.What do you do when not working or riding/racing.
I’m always doing something if its playing basketball because I am 6’4” lol.. running, working or doing church stuff. There is always something going on
4.Do you train have a training program? if so what. And would you like to work with a trainer if so, WHO?
Yes I do have a training program that im doing at the gym mostly a lot of cardio ill do a 60 min spin class then do 20 min on the row machine then cool down on the elliptical for 10 min. I don’t have a trainer full time all tho Steve Hatch has helped me out and gave me some pointers. Thanks Steve!
5. Who is your favorite MX/SX racer and who is your favorite Desert/ Worcs racer.
I don’t have a favorite mx/sx racer I just like to see a good battle. Which lately its been bubba & chad. For Desert has to be Destry Abbott just because I’ve met him and talked with him and he is very down to earth.
6. What is your Favorite Track.
Im not a big track rat but if I had to choice I would say Grind Stone just b.c theres so much to do there other then ride on the track. You’ve got endro cross some single track. I get bored when I go to tracks b.c it’s the same thing over and over again
7. How has the Economy effected your Racing.
It was hard in the first place befor the economy was bad, I moved out of the house when I was 18 and always had a hard time between school & work. Kind of hard to afford to race and keep up with all the other responsibilities. The past 3 races Friday night’s is the only time I can work on my bike and make sure its ready for Sunday. B.c Saturday’s I’m at school all-day from 7am – 6pm.
8. Tell us a "clean" Joke...
I think this is clean enough. :P There are 3 Friends that pasted away in a car crash, there waiting inline at the heavenly gates. The first man goes up to the angel, the angel asks “have you been faithful to your wife?” the man said “YES!” so the angel gives him a Brand new lechery car to drive around in heaven. The next man comes to the angel and asked the same question the man said “no he cheated on her once.” Angel gives him a BMW to drive around in heaven. Angel asked the last guy if he was faithful he said “no not at all… I cheated on here 4 times.” Angel gives him Volkswagen to drive around in heaven. So the men all meet up a few weeks later. And the first guy is all upset and sad. The 2 guys asked “what’s wrong with you?” he said “I just seen my Wife…. She’s riding a Bike cycle.”
10. what can you tell the young racers about this sport? Any words of wisdom?
JUST HAVE FUN! I see a lot of parents pushing and getting mad at there kids for not trying or just giving up. Parents need to remember this is a Hobby not a way of living. If your always pissed off and getting mad you need to stop racing and enjoy what your doing first. I didn’t start racing tell I moved in AZ in 2006. My back ground with my father was to always have fun and make it enjoyable but with the occasional push to do better.
